Supporting locally grown and produced goods
Each Thursday for four hours during the summer months the parking lot at the Albion Bolton Community Centre is wondrously transformed into the Caledon Farmer's Market. Vendors from across Caledon converge to ply their wares.
If you have never been, you are truly missing out! Booths and tables boast a vast and wonderful assortment of fresh, locally grown and produced goods.
From organic vegetables and meat, to honey, baked goods and chocolate, to unique and interesting pottery, jewelry, and stained glass you're sure to find something at the market.
The Farmer's Market that operates on Thursdays until October 7th from 3pm-7pm is a reminder that Caledon is a beautifully diverse community with many farming communities within it.
Every other day of the week many of the same vendors operate from their farms within a few minutes drive of wherever you live in Caledon. We encourage you to venture beyond the familiar boundaries of your neighbourhoods and go to one of the farms or farmer's markets in Caledon.
Available at the Farmer's Market: corn, plant material - annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs,
jewelry, local lamb, organic cheese and flour, organic spelt biscotti, pancake mix, pottery, home décor ideas, fruit, vegetables, baked goods, maple syrup, honey products, fair trade coffee, cured Ontario meats and sausages, antibiotic- and hormone-free beef, cider, apples, fudge, chocolate...
