Traction-Visco offers unique parts and services

When anyone in the trucking business north of the GTA needs truck parts, they know exactly where to go; VISCO Industrial Sales, conveniently located in the heart of Bolton at the corner of Simpson Road and Healey Road.

Owner and president, Angelo Visco and general manager Fred Visco, recently joined forces with Traction to become the area's most important player in the industry. "Traction (a division of UAP) is a great company to be part of", said Angelo. Their staff is very helpful and professional and we love their motto: One team - one goal."

After 13 years of specializing in industrial sales and service such as hydraulic hose and fittings, pneumatics, tools and hydraulic cylinder sales, Fred and Angelo were ready to expand into the trucking industry. Knowing full well of Traction's excellent reputation across the country, Angelo approached them about becoming an independent associate store which would carry their complete line of truck parts and accessories. He wanted to team up with a reputable company that had a solid track record in the industry and could help him expand his already busy organization.

Visco Industrial has been a Traction store since May 2007. Since then, the steady increase in sales has been attributed to the hard work and dedication of Traction-Visco Sales Manager, Adrian BArry. "In fact," Angelo said, "we have recently added a second account representative to further service our customer's needs."

Inside sales are handled by Mike Leonard and Karl Hansen. With 25 years combined experience in the trucking industry, they can handle all of their customer's requirements.

Since joining forces with Traction, Visco's business has really taken off. Truckers, fleets and repair shops no longer have to go outside of the region to get the parts they need. Angelo has a fleet of three delivery trucks that service their territory twice daily.

On August 1st, 2009, Visco Industrial again responded tho their clients' needs by offering a complete driveline and custom exhaust service. They can make or provide any part, no matter how big or small. "Adding the driveline service has made us a 'one stop shop' for all our customers' requirements and has opened doors to other local industries," said Angelo.

Traction-Visco's driveline service extends to different industries such as agriculture, automotive, construction, foresty, mining and recreational vehicles. Their service for drivelines stretches from Toronto to Collingwood and Markham to Guelph including all points in beaten.

Angelo brought in a driveline expert, John Forbes, who has 20 years experiencein manufacturing, repairing and balancing drive shafts, to run the operation. "With our new computerized 'state-of-the-art' equipment we can meet or exceed OEM specifications," says Angelo.

Right beside Traction-Visco is a three bay automotive repair facility, Bolton TruckPro, a fully licensed shop with technicians that can do everything from an oil change to a complete engine overhaul. They have the space for any size car, truck or trailer.

Traction-Visco is also able to manufacture custom exhaust products. They can make any shape, size or configuration, no matter what the application may be.

Throughout Traction-Visco's recent expansions, the company continues to supply its clients with the goods and services they have become known for. The hydraulic cylinder repair and exchange program continues to be a focus for the company as is their 'while-you-wait' hose service.

In appreciation to their customers, Traction-Visco holds an annual barbecue. Customers are able to tour their 15,000 square foot facility, heavy truck repair centre, the new driveline repair facility and meet their staff. In addition, manufacturers and technical service representatives are always present that day with product displays with all the latest news and information.
